San Miguel de Abona hosts the XXVII Grand Chapter of the Canary Islands Wine Brotherhood, an event dedicated to celebrating the islands' winemaking traditions, culture and heritage.
At 11:00 a.m., the brotherhoods parade to the Church Square. At 11:30 a.m., Mass and a blessing at the Church of San Miguel de Abona. From 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., official ceremonies, fraternisation with other gastronomic brotherhoods and the appointment of new members.
